Facilities and resources
Yanco Agricultural High School has state-of-the-art resources, farm and hostel, provide a stimulating and caring environment for students.
The school is set on 280 hectares, including 180 hectares of intensive irrigation and dry land agriculture, as well as 60 hectares of natural bushland bordered by the Murrumbidgee River.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:
- a unique and historical property
- a well-stocked library for reading and research
- science labs for hands-on experiments
- sports fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, gymnasium and a pool for fitness and fun
- specialist music spaces, and tutors providing instruction in a wide range of instruments, support the school's marching band as well as recreational groups
- art and technology classroom spaces as well as design and technology work areas
- a Trade Training Centre providing industry standard Hospitality Student Kitchen and a Metals & Engineering practical classroom
- extensive farm resources
- an Equine Centre including an Olympic standard indoor arena and stables
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
