The Dining Room at Yanco Agricultural High School, is a vital part of the school's boarding facilities. It consists of a modern kitchen and a spacious dining hall designed to cater to the nutritional needs of the school's active, growing students.

The Dining Room is staffed by professional cooks and a team of kitchen and dining room assistants dedicated to the nutritional care of the students. The catering staff are trained in hygienic practices and the management of food intolerances and allergies, prioritising the health and safety of the students. The kitchen uses all gluten free sauces and make all the pasta sauces, gravies, soups. All allergies are catered for and these meals are prepared and served separately

To provide variety and maintain nutritional standards, the Dining Room operates a rotating menu. This approach ensures that students receive wholesome and nutritious meals while enjoying a diverse range of food options.

The Dining Room staff prepare over one thousand meals a day, as well as cater for recess, supper, excursions, social and sporting events.

Boarding at our school

All students at Yanco Agricultural High School are boarders with approximately 350 students (boys and girls) residing at the school for 40 weeks of the year.
