The Yanco Agricultural High School difference
Our Positive Behaviour for Success (PBS) program is built on the principles of pride, respect and responsibility. Our values guide our approach to student behaviour and are explicitly taught and form part of our "Yanco Way."
Pride
Students are encouraged to take pride in their school and their work. This is also demonstrated by our school traditions such as marching and our War Cry, as well as the commitment of students to their studies and boarding school life.
Respect
Students are also expected to treat others with respect. This includes respect for staff, other students and community members, as well as respect for school property and resources.
Responsibility
Students learn to be responsible for their actions. Taking ownership for behaviour and being safe are core to this value. YAHS students are also expected to exhibit a mature approach across all areas of school life.
