| 6:30am to 7am | Your day begins around 6:30am when you get up, shower, dress for the school day, make your bed, tidy your area and complete any other tasks assigned to you. |
| 7am to 8am | Breakfast. You must attend breakfast and have your name marked off on the roll. Inspection will happen after breakfast every morning. During this time, you must take any dirty clothes to the laundry |
| 8am to 8:20am | You must be out of the dormitory building with all of your equipment for the school day. You are not allowed back into the dormitory until the end of the school day. |
| 8:30am to 3:15pm | The YAHS school day starts with assembly and roll call at 8:35am. You must be on time for assembly every day. The school day finishes with the final bell at 3:15pm. Lunch is from 12:45pm to 1:25pm See the school day timetable on our Education at our school page. |
| 3:15pm to 5:30pm | Collect clean clothes from the laundry and put them away. Take your school bag up to the dorms. Get changed in casual clothes. Go out and join an activity. |
| 5:30pm to 6pm | Dinner. Dinner is served in the school dining room. |
| 6:30pm to 8:30pm | Prep. Prep stands for preparation time. This is the time for you to do your homework, assignments, study or read. Prep is supervised by teaching and duty staff. Supper is during the prep break. |
| 8:30pm to 8:55pm | Return to dorms, prepare for the next day, prepare for bed. |
| 9pm to 9:30pm | Lights out! Lights out for the various year grounds ranges from 9pm to 9:30pm |
