The number of vacancies varies from year to year for the different year groups.

Entry to Yanco Agricultural High School in Year 8 to Year 12 is by application and interview. Enrolment application forms for Year 8 to Year 12 can be downloaded from the Selective Schools Unit or obtained from Yanco Agricultural High School (please contact us by phone, email or fax).

Along with the official enrolment application form, Yanco Agricultural High School has specific requirements that must be included with your application. These include copies of most recent reports and NAPLAN results, a letter from the student indicating why they wish to attend this school, what they could contribute to the school and what benefits they hope to achieve by attending Yanco Agricultural High School. All intending applicants should confirm these requirements before they submit their applications, in writing, to the school.

Applications are usually available around June/July. Applicants proceeding to interview will be contacted and interviews usually held in August/September. Outcome advice letters and further information on the next steps in the process are usually sent to parents through October and November.

Students offered enrolment in Year 8 to Year 12 for the following year should plan to attend and orientation and information day late in the year, in readiness for beginning Yanco Agricultural High School. This is also an important day for parents.
