Woodpark Merino and Poll Merino Stud donates Wethers for School's Wether Challenge

Carol and Stephen Huggins, owners of Woodpark Merino and Poll Merino Stud in Hay have kindly donated twelve 2013-drop Merino wethers for the School's Wether Challenge at the Rabobank National Merino Sheep Show & Ram Sale on the 27th of August 2014. The Year 9 & 10 Animal Management class will be responsible for caring for and preparing the wethers for the challenge, which will be judged on meat and wool value. We would like to sincerely thank Carol and Stephen for their generous donation, and for their assistance in choosing the wethers and shearing them for us. They are high quality Merinos, with an excellent frame and stylish, soft handling, lustrous white wool. We would also like to thank Graeme Wells from One Oak Merino stud for inspecting and tagging them for us on behalf of the NSW Stud Merino Breeders Association.
